Mesut Ozil refusing to leave Arsenal in January transfer windows

The Germany World Cup winner only signed a new £350,000-a-week contract with Arsenal a year prior yet is presently looking a monetary risk.

Also, there have been solid recommendations both Emery and the club would like to move him on during the transfer window that opened today.

But ESPN say Ozil has no intention of leaving North London this month and compel his way over into the beginning line up.

That may not be as simple as he trusts, with Emery making it clear over the past six weeks that he has not trust in the 30-year-old.

The Arsenal manager wants his team to play with high intensity across the side, squeezing adversaries when they are under lock and key.

But that only works when every outfield player is prepared to put in the work required to close teams down as a unit – something Ozil has clearly been ease back to do.

It has brought about Emery chosen he couldn’t discover a place for the former Real Madrid star in his side in their biggest games.

He was recalled to the starting line-up for the Boxing Day trip to Brighton but hauled off at half-tim

It was an unmistakable sign the chief has lost confidence in the player and isn’t set up to give him such a large number of more opportunities to refute him.

Arsenal are understood to be open to the idea of selling him this month if they can find a buyer – but the possibility of a move to Inter Milan has just been thumped back by the player.
