Marouane Fellaini is set to leave Man Utd and move to China
MAROUANE FELLAINI is closing on a megabucks move to the Chinese Super League, as per reports.
The Belgium international, a pupil of sacked Jose Mourinho, has tumbled down the pecking request since Ole Gunner Solskjaer’s arrival at Old Trafford.
Following a visit to Dutch clinic Move to Cure in Antwerp to receive treatment on his injured calf, Fellaini touched base at United’s instructional hub on Tuesday to arrange his turn to China.
The Daily Mail report that a delegation from China are understood to have been sent to Manchester so as to hold converses with United’s official bad habit director Ed Woodward.
Despite Guangzhou Evergrande showing interest in signing the midfielder last month, it is obscure which Chinese club have been attempting to draw the 31-year-old Belgian.
Once Mourinho’s go-to man, the Belgian has now fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford as he doesn’t accommodate Solskjaer’s hostile football logic.
Fellaini has played just 31 minutes since the Norwegian took over in December, having highlighted in 21 games in absolute this season and scoring twice.
And he is now facing a three-week spell on the sidelines in the wake of harming his lower leg muscle.
