Luka Jovic gives Real Madrid more reasons to sign him
The 2018/19 season is nearing its end and Luka Jovic said farewell to the Europa League on Thursday evening after Eintracht Frankfurt tumbled to Chelsea in the semi-last.
Jovic has shone in Europe this season, grabbing the attention of Europe’s powerhouses – most notably Real Madrid – and potentially changing the course of his profession all the while.
At 21 years old, Jovic has proven himself to be a top-quality striker and has appeared extraordinary capacity to score goals.
For this reason, Real Madrid are among those keen to sign him this summer
To date, Jovic has played 46 games this season, scoring 27 goals and providing seven assists. He has 17 Bundesliga strikes, level with Paco Alcacer and only behind Robert Lewandowski’s 22, while he is likewise level with Olivier Giroud as the Europa League’s top scorer with 10.
Europe has been where he has enjoyed his best football this season. He has thrived under the pressure, carried Eintracht on his shoulders and appeared a long ways past his years. He brought down Inter, Benfica, and scored in the two legs against Chelsea.
With his European battle having arrived at an end, the Serbian scored against everyone he faced and many believe he’ll be scoring goals in the white of Madrid next season.
