Liverpool confront fight to keep Fabinho as Juventus join AC Milan in race for midfielder
Juventus will go head-to-head with AC Milan for Liverpool star Fabinho, as indicated by reports.
The Brazilian moved to Anfield in the summer from Monaco as a major aspect of an arrangement that could in the long run be worth more than £40m.
However, the 25-year-old has failed to nail down regular first-team football with proposals he may not last a full season in England.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is quick to give Fabinho time to adjust to the frenetic pace of the Premier League.
However, with Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita returning to full fitness, he could wind up back on the seat.
Milan fancy taking the stylish midfielder on loan in January subsequent to losing Lucas Biglia for four months with calf damage.
But Sport Mediaset reckon Juve are ready to step in if Liverpool are set up to work together amid the winter window.
Fabinho is cheerful to battle for his place and is desperate to make an impact on Merseyside.
He stated: « The minute is great, being called has helped as well. So I’m very happy, I hope I can keep it.
« I know the rate here is very high, you have to always try to keep a good performance, and in our group we have a great deal of choices in the midfield.
« Obviously it’s unrealistic to be constantly called, but whenever the coach needs me I want to be ready for it. »
But all that could change if the Turin giants form up their interest offering Fabinho the shot of pushing for the Serie A title and remaining in the Champions League.
