Le Parisien report : « Barça and Rabiot have reached contract agreement »
Knocking back the official statement released by FC Barcelona on Sunday, French paper Le Parisien covered Monday that Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot has reached an agreement with the Catalan club over his salary and signing bonus.
Le Parisien, who don’t reveal their sources, say that at the moment there are no negotiations between Barça and PSG, but that the circumstance could develop « this week ».
Meanwhile, L’Equipe sustain that despite the denials from Rabiot’s people, there have been « discussions » for weeks between the Catalan club and the France midfielder, who is accessible with the expectation of complimentary win the mid year when his terms with PSG terminate, over a « pre-contract agreement »
They add that other clubs have not given up on the idea of signing Rabiot, either, and state there have been « different gatherings » with the pecking order at English sides Liverpool and Tottenham and Italian side Juventus.
These reports in the French media come after Barça released a comment on Sunday denying « any type » of agreement with the midfielder. The club included that they have dependably acted in the right way with PSG, who they contacted over the player in August and again last week.
