JURGEN KLOPP is in talks with Gareth Southgate about leaving Joe Gomez well enough alone for England’s conflict against USA.
The Liverpool star played the full 90 minutes during this weekend’s 2-0 prevail upon Fulham notwithstanding conveying achilles damage.
Gomez has been included in the squad for the match against the USA and the Nations League standoff with Croatia.
But Klopp has confirmed that he has been in contact with Southgate to talk about whether the 21-year-old is fit enough to play.
He said: « Joe has played all the games, we don’t know, we are in talks. »
The Reds boss also took the chance to give Jordan Henderson the green light to play for the Three Lions following his arrival from damage.
Henderson missed four matches with a hamstring injury, yet he came back to the squad as a second-half substitute on Sunday.

And the 51-year-old is happy for Naby Keita to play for Guinea against Ivory Coast following his recuperation from thigh damage.
He added: « If you ask me, I always want them to stay here. Be that as it may, for this situation, it’s beneficial for him.
« Guinea play just one game against Ivory Coast, and that is beneficial for him.
« He is fit and has been preparing for five days. Presently he’ll have another four or five days preparing and play a diversion.It’s brilliant I’m happy for him. »
The 23-year-old replaced Fabinho in stoppage time as the Reds triumphed 2-0 following Mohamed Salah’s dubious opener.
