Juve’s Cancelo out after knee surgery, Cuadrado may need treatment


Portuguese international Joao Cancelo has successfully undergone knee medical procedure and was because of begin recovery Saturday, his club Juventus said.

The 24-year-old ideal back experienced arthroscopic meniscus medical procedure in his correct knee at a facility in Turin. Juve did not state the expected length of his recovery time.


The Italian champions purchased Cancelo for 40 million euros (45 million dollars) from Valencia in June after a season on loan at Inter Milan.

He has become a key player with the Serie A frontrunners, playing 12 of 15 Serie A games and three of six Champions League excursions.
He scored three objectives from 12 appearance with the Portuguese national squad.

Juve coach Massimiliano Allegri also said that right winger Juan Cuadrado is resting and being checked for possible knee surgery.
