Juventus confirm coach Allegri will leave club at end of season

Juventus have confirmed that coach Massimiliano Allegri will leave the club at the end of the currrent season having neglected to arrive the Champions League.

Former Milan manager Allegri has won five Serie A titles in a row in Turin and four Italian cups but Europe’s greatest prize has escaped him.

The Italians have lost in two finals — against Barcelona and Real Madrid – and were thumped out in the quarterfinals this year by Ajax.

After meetings with Juve chief Andrea

« Massimiliano Allegri will not be on the Juventus bench for the 2019/2020 season, » Juve said in a short proclamation on Thursday.

« The coach and the president, Andrea Agnelli, will meet the media together at tomorrow’s press conference — Saturday 18 May, at 2pm in the question and answer session lobby of Allianz Stadium. »

There are no clues about what the future could hold for the Italian coach, who leaves Juventus in the hands of headliner Cristiano Ronaldo as they hope to choose another administrator for next season.
