Joachim Anderson is being eyed by Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham are tracking Sampdoria defender Joachim Anderson, as per reports.
Anderson is being eyed as a potential replacement for Toby Alderweireld if the Belgian leaves toward the finish of the season.
Spurs recently extended Alderweireld’s contract by a year – yet the arrangement permits the29-year-old to leave for only £25million in the late spring, putting Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain on alert.
The Independent reckon Mauricio Pochettino is planning for life after Alderweireld with the Danish focal safeguard a suitable alternative.
Anderson,22, moved to Sampdoria from Dutch side FC Twente year and a half back.
The Dane is 6ft 2in and has 16 caps for his country.
Sampdoria look resigned to losing their star defender yet would be set up to work together at £35m.

But the club’s top brass could hold off until the summer, enabling Spurs to take a walk on them for his mark.
