Higuain says Sarri will help him recapture his true form at Chelsea
SARRI will get the best out of Higuain – and that’s the opinion of Chelsea’s new striker himself.
The Argentinian enjoyed a spectacularly successful season under Sarri at Napoli in 2015-16, scoring 38 times in 42 games, and he feels the Italian boss can take him back to that dimension of structure.
The 31-year old, who joined Chelsea in the January, was speaking to Sky Sports about his boss before the Blues’ clash with Man City today.
Higuain said: « He is the coach that has got the best out of me. I know him well, he realizes me well.
« I’m hopeful I will get back to that level we had before, this is the idea. He is someone who helps me, realizes my amusement and how to get the best out of me. »
The striker also revealed his delight at the loan move that took him to London from AC Milan, where he’d likewise been on advance from Serie A pioneers Juventus.
He stated: « I am extremely cheerful to be here. It’s a wonderful club with a wonderful stadium and it is really a fantastic experience.
« I trust with time that this group will almost certainly accomplish every one of the goals they can. »
