Keylor Navas say : « I’ve gone from winning three consecutive Champions Leagues to not playing”

Since Santiago Solari steered at Real Madrid, Keylor Navas has been removed of the image. The Argentinean coach has made it quite clear that his first choice goalkeeper is Thibaut Courtois, who landed from Chelsea this mid year for 35 million euros.

The Belgian has started every LaLiga and Champions League game for Solari, while Navas has needed to manage with one begin, in the Copa del Rey installation against Melilla.

And Costa Rican goalkeeper made his feelings known in an interview aired on Spanish television on Thursday night.  » « I’ve gone from winning three consecutive Champions Leagues to not playing,” said a dazed Navas to the El Chiringuito program.

While Julen Lopetegui was in charge, Navas and Courtois were part of a rotational system, with the Costa Rican decided for Champions League amusements and the Belgian for LaLiga installations.

In any case, that system has not been continued by Solari, leaving Navas with an indeterminate future at the Bernabéu.
