Christian Pulisic ready to take Eden Hazard’s place at Chelsea

Christian Pulisic was officially presented as a Chelsea player on Tuesday. Having been signed in a 73-million-dollar deal during the winter transfer window, the US worldwide has now done the change to Stamford Bridge following the finish of Borussia Dortmund’s season.

Pulisic talked to Sky Sports about his upcoming challenge with the Premier League club, saying he believes he has all the right qualities to be as good as Eden Hazard has been for the Blues, with the Belgian’s future still questionable in the midst of enthusiasm from Real Madrid.

The American is considered to be a long-term replacement for Hazard, and Pulisic feels he can fill Hazard’s shoes. « Of course, I want to believe that I can be the best player I can possibly be, that’s why I work so hard every day and why I thought it was necessary for me to take this next step in my career and to come here. I have a lot more to learn as a player and am eager to perceive what’s in store. »

Hazard’s replacement?

Pulisic is viewed as Hazard’s replacement at Chelsea, with the 20-year-old predominantly playing on the right side last season, though sometimes he also played also on the left side. In the event that the Belgian leaves, there is a high shot of an opening in the Blues forefront, yet with Callum Hudson-Odoi and Pedro, it may be on the left wing.
