Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri declines to abandon Napoli’s £53m-appraised star Elseid Hysaj
THE AGENT of Elseid Hysaj has dropped a big hint as to what could be next for the Napoli full-back.
Hysaj has been connected with a move to Chelsea, and the right-back’s agent, Mario Giuffredi, confirmed to Radio CRC a move could be impending.
The agent pointed out that Napoli have opted to utilise the services of their other right-back, Kevin Malcuit, as of late this season – with the Frenchman showing up this term beginning on four events.
Giuffredi disclosed to Radio CRC: « Chelsea in for Hysaj? If you see Napoli are playing Malcuit and looking at other players, unmistakably it implies that there are likewise enquiries.
“Those who say otherwise are misinformed.
« Hysaj is a player who can do well in English football, given he’s very physical and being watched by big clubs.
Is he worth €50m? He’s value €60m for me. »
It was reported earlier in the season that Sarri had tried to bring Hysaj to Stamford Bridge when the chief touched base in London from Napoli this mid year.
Sarri had managed Hysaj at Empoli before spending three seasons with the safeguard in Naples.
But Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis would not sanction the deal after allowing Jorginho to join Sarri at Stamford Bridge.
Giuffredi disclosed to Radio Kiss: “Those who criticise him probably never make mistakes, but whatever remains of us are minor humans.
« Without that proviso, he probably would have gone to Chelsea this summer.
