Genuine Madrid peering toward Porto’s Telles as Marcelo substitution
real Madrid have for some time been looking over the market for a possible successor to Marcelo and in spite of the fact that Sergio Reguilón has been promoted to the first team the board are still in the market for an established player to fill the void when the Brazilian eventually leaves or retires.
With Italian media hypothesis overflowing that Juventus will make a move for Marcelo in January – and that the 30-year-old might be available to the thought so he can collaborate with his companion Cristiano Ronaldo at the Italian bosses – Madrid are hoping to cover their bases and have set their look on Porto’s Brazilian left back Alex Telles.
Telles on Madrid’s radar as long haul Marcelo successor
According to Portuguese daily Record, Madrid are planning to move for Telles in January whether Marcelo leaves or not and will meet the 25-year-old’s discharge statement of 40 million euros.
Telles has built up himself as one of Porto’s key players under Sérgio Conceição in the wake of moving to the Estádio do Dragão from Galatasary by method for a credit to Inter in 2016 and is seen at the Bernabéu as a pretty much direct swap for Marcelo, given his pace and assaulting characteristics.
