Bayern’s Thiago to miss ‘several weeks’ with ankle injury
Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara has been discounted for up to about a month and a half because of a lower leg damage.
After his midfielder’s departure on crutches in the Bavarians’ DFB-Pokal game against SV Rödinghausen, Niko Kovac expected that his player had a more genuine harm.
The medical tests to which he was subjected by Dr. Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt determined that the Spain international has a burst of the frontal tendon of his correct lower leg.
Thiago will miss both La Roja’s forthcoming diversions against Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the worldwide break in November.
The 27-year-old has been a regular starter for Kovac, having played 14 of the group’s 15 diversions so far this season, enlisting one objective and a help.
He will join his teammates Kingsley Coman and Corentin Tolisso, who have long haul wounds.
