Brahim Diaz, disappointed with Santiago Solari
Brahim Díaz, Real Madrid’s January signing, is out of the squad for the second game in a row. The young player arrived from Manchester City hoping for minutes but the situation is repeating after he was solidified out in Manchester.
He is disappointed with Santiago Solari, confused. He arrived in the capital and was presented on January 7. After two days he got his first minutes in the shirt. 12 in the container against Leganes, a debut against Betis in La Liga and then 4 minutes in the second leg of the cup.
However after defeat at Butarque, Brahim has not played again for Madrid. He was on the bench against Sevilla, did not play against Girona in the container, at that point was not in the squad to confront Espanyol. Now he’s been left out for the second leg against Girona.
Four games in a row he hasn’t played in. He’s only played in 4 percent of the minutes since he arrived – 24.
Brahim knows there is competition at Madrid but it doesn’t seem he’s required at all under Solari.
