Arsenal send scouts to watch AC Milan ace Jesus Suso
Reports in Italy suggest a Gunner scout was at the San Siro on Sunday casting an eye over AC Milan winger Jesus Suso.
And tuttomercato web say Arsenal were also running the rule over Cagliari’s focal midfielder Nicolo Barella.
Arsenal boss Unai Emery is looking to make swinging changes to his side over the close season as he upgrades the squad he acquired from Arsene Wenger.
Aaron Ramsey’s departure on a free transfer to Juventus has freed up a role in the centre of the side next season, a territory Emery is especially excited about reinforcing.
And it is clear he also wants to bring in a wide player, given the club’s pursuit of Perisic and Carrasco in the January transfer window.
A scout watched as Suso turned in an impressive display, helping Milan to a 3-0 win which established their fourth-put position in the table.
The 25-year-old Spaniard has flourished in Serie A since his move to AC Milan in 2015 having failed to make an impact at Liverpool F.C after coming through the academy system there.
Suso has since gone on to make four appearances for the national team and Emery is thinking about attempting to take him back to the Premier League with a mid year offer.
