Another issue for Real Madrid as Benzema goes down with injured finger

Karim Benzema had to be substituted off at half time of Real Madrid’s match away at Real Betis as he turned into the most recent player to finish up on Los Blancos’ damage list.

The incident happened in the final minute of the first half, as he reached a ball before Marc Bartra, but then went down on the ground under a test.

The Frenchman was in pain and the first half ended without him on the pitch, before he was went with to the changing area by two individuals from the meeting side’s therapeutic group.

Cristo came out in his place for the second half, with Benzema having to be substituted off as a result of what ended up being damage to his finger.

While it remains to be seen how serious the No.9’s issue is, there are now seven injured players in the Real Madrid
